How is this different from donating to Goodwill?
Goodwill sells your donated items once at thrift store prices. OnlyFuego rents your items again and again. Both are 501(c)(3) nonprofits; the difference is what happens to the piece.
Do I get a tax deduction?
Yes. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit we issue an itemized tax receipt for every donation. Per IRS rules, donors determine fair market value when filing, and our donation value guides give you comparable sales data to support your number. For donations over $5,000 the IRS requires an independent qualified appraisal, which a credentialed appraiser provides (not the receiving charity).
Can I donate from anywhere in the US?

Where does the money go?
100% of net rental profits are split across the charities on our Honor Roll at year end. Our donors nominate the charities, and we add every nomination to the list. We're not a for-profit company; there's no one else to pay.
What if my clothes aren't designer?
We focus on quality pieces with rental value: designer labels, formal wear, vintage, costumes, and well-maintained fashion. For everyday basics, your local Goodwill or Salvation Army is a great option. Not sure? Email us and we'll let you know.
How long until I get my tax receipt?
Typically within 2 weeks of receiving your donation. We'll email an itemized IRS-compliant 501(c)(3) receipt confirming the items donated.
