What happens to your dress

OnlyFuego is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and a donated wedding dress is one of the most powerful gifts we receive. Depending on the piece, it may be rented for weddings and formal events through our program FashionablyGood, with 100% of the profits going to community causes, or lent free to a community honoree for the night they're celebrated. One dress can do good again and again, year after year.

Dresses we welcome

All of them, truly. Designer gowns and department store dresses, ballgowns and slip dresses, this season or twenty seasons ago. It should be in good, wearable condition; it does not need to be professionally cleaned first, since we handle cleaning and care when it arrives. Bridesmaid dresses and mothers-of-the-bride dresses are welcome too.

How it works

  • Fill out the quick form above with a few details about your dress.
  • We send a free prepaid mailer, or you can ship directly to us.
  • We take it from there: cleaning, care, and putting it to good use.

Your donation is tax-deductible and we'll send an itemized 501(c)(3) receipt. Curious what your dress is worth on your taxes? See our wedding dress donation value guide.
